Now that we have reviewed the achievements (and sometimes failures) of last year, it’s time to lay out the plans for 2020.
And now we get to the most abject failure of all the resolutions, to complete one activity out of the adventure pot a month. I completed a ground total of….. one. Just one.
So two of the four resolutions were pretty much on target, which is all good. The third resolution though… eek. The idea was to read two books a month, so 24 in the year. I managed five, so I think we will call this one a miss…
After the success of my first resolution, things started to go downhill. For my second resolution, I aimed to listen to 12 audiobooks in the year. I got to 10, which isn’t bad but not quite there!
In my on-going mission to get some of my life back from the grasp of the MBA, I have set myself a challenge to do one outstanding DIY-task each week for the next 5 weeks. And I am happy to report that week 1 has been a success!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – minimalism does not come naturally to me. Nature would much more prefer me to live in a house where only one room is usable, and you have to tunnel through 17,000 old local newspapers to get to it.
It has been too long. The MBA has stolen my life, but I am determined to try and get it back a little bit. First up, bringing the tale of the on-going minimalism challenge up to date…
You all know I’ve tried really hard at this minimalism thing right….
I stole that. Blatantly.
