Last October I went to volunteer at an event called Battle of Ideas at the Barbican in central London, and managed to get myself on a last-minute architecture tour for free!
I went on a quick trip to Milan… mainly for a hen party (which won’t be discussed in full detail, what goes on tour stays on tour) but squeezed in a bit of sight-seeing as well!
We went to Norwich and found a nice cathedral and some Morris Dancers!

I only made it to the outside, but definitely worth a visit if you can make time.

I finally went to India! But only with work, so not as much sightseeing but a whole lot more fun Indian stuff.
I went on a bicycle journey to the Barbican; I got very excited about some Japanese architecture.
In October 2013 I went to Cambodia for a week on a charity trip with Action Aid to help build a library for a small village outside Siam Reap. The trip was organised by my old company as part of their Giving Something Back initiative, so everyone on the trip was from the organisation. There is a lot of backstory for this one…
